Come with us for a Day trip to this beautiful island in the Bay of Fundy just 1 hour and 30 min ferry ride off the coast called Grand Manan.
Enjoy a morning coffee or a full breakfast while looking for porpoise and whales as you cross the Bay on the "Grand Manan Adventure", pride of the GM Ferries, and before you know it, you will be rounding the SwallowTail Lighthouse so keep your eye open for the many seals that frequent the waters surrounding the island. Perhaps a boat will be seining the weir nearby, just before we dock, after we dock and roll off. We pass by the fleet tied up at the wharf in North Head and as we travel through Castalia and picturesque Woodwards Cove towards Grand Harbour.
Enjoy the scenery that "the Island" is famous for.
Heading over to Ingalls head to check out the "boat compound" and then, its on to "Experience" the 300 feet high cliffs of Southern Head and hear the story of how some shipwrecked fishermen were able to scale the cliffs in a raging storm and live to tell it.
En route to this amazing landmark catch a glimpse of the picturesque fishing village of Seal Cove and Deep Cove Beach as we pass through them.
